My Jagged Memories

Tonight my tears fall to His holy script
My thoughts are broken by this interlude
I long to die with you, deep in that crypt
Your lifeless body lies in solitude
It pierces me through my eternal soul
And places gloom's impression on my heart
Your smile was often what would make me whole
I now embrace the pain of us apart
Oh, when you meet the white divine, my sweet
I pray you see how beautiful you are
My soul's ill-lighted dear, it may excrete
Love pours the salt into my wounds, thus far
You are my jagged memories, it's true
This sorrow haunts me still, I'm grieving you!
