oh, how can i relate to any man
who read your poetry and sadly seemed
unmoved by all you plucked from heaven's span
when by your quill upon that paper gleamed
a genius, a gift for seeing bright
as wide eyed in your mind, and heart, and soul
to fill that void of dark and make it light
so white and soothing with a rhythm whole
the music of your dearest thoughts remain
beneath the veil that shelters beauty's theme
deep in poetic lair where every grain
and ounce of your perfection surely mean
you did achieve transcendence with your mind
the realms of earth and heaven you combined
unmoved by all you plucked from heaven's span
when by your quill upon that paper gleamed
a genius, a gift for seeing bright
as wide eyed in your mind, and heart, and soul
to fill that void of dark and make it light
so white and soothing with a rhythm whole
the music of your dearest thoughts remain
beneath the veil that shelters beauty's theme
deep in poetic lair where every grain
and ounce of your perfection surely mean
you did achieve transcendence with your mind
the realms of earth and heaven you combined
I really like this...
