Sonnetarium

within my darkest dreams I am found there
a place where poet's scream for restitution
and while the halls may echo their despair
the silence is what brings them consolation
I feel their longing lash out through their souls
then search for sanity throughout my mind
no, there is nothing more that makes me whole
than hoping one day I'll be unconfined
there seems to be a lingering effect
the night can hold when I remember life
and oh, a thing of beauty could connect
with how i used to fight beyond my strife
the cost was all my genius, dear muse
I bled my heart to understand your views
