By fairest light the scent of love does bloom
As winter thaws away by heaven's ray
That pierces beauty through the clouds of gloom
To kill away the dark upon this day
The veil of frostiness can be no more
When chirping echoes high in tallest trees
The opening of spring I do adore
My love for you does come to me with ease
You stand amid a hill beneath the sky
There blushing sweetly your soft petals pink
And there my flower you will never die
For in my poetry our souls do link
I write of you in spring when love is born
Despite the seasons I do often mourn

Love is so complicated sometimes...
Beautifully written.
